INDEPENDENT. FAN-BUILT.
A home for the fans who stay.
ClippersDome brings together Clippers coverage, original game-night photography, and conversation among fans. Matt Marquis started with tickets to watch the stars visiting Los Angeles. Along the way, the home team became his team. That connection is the starting point for this community.
News belongs to its writers.
Our publisher feeds display headlines, bylines, dates, and links to reporting at the original source. We do not claim to own those articles or offer full-text republication. Featured commentary is separate from the source reporting. Feed availability can change.
A real fan’s view.
Inside the Dome uses original photographs supplied by Matt. Archive photos are memories, not evidence of a current game. Unconfirmed dates remain unconfirmed.
Your voice, your choice.
Reading does not require posting. Sign in with ChatGPT to comment or vote. Comments are visible to visitors who can access the site and are stored with your account identifier, chosen fan name, and posting time. Poll votes are stored per account so each fan has one vote and can change it.
Keep discussions about basketball. No harassment, personal information, spam, or promotional links. You can remove your own comments; the owner can moderate comments. Reporting flags a comment for review. Removal hides a comment from discussion; it does not permanently erase its stored record. Avoid posting information you want to keep private.
What stays in your browser.
Saved headlines, saved source selections, private fan-story drafts, meetup ideas, and your remembered fan name use your browser’s local storage. They are not a shared membership directory or public event registration. Clear that browser storage to remove those local drafts and preferences.
Website audience measurement.
We measure page views and estimated unique browsers using a random first-party browser identifier stored for 30 days. We store the page path, date, and referral hostname or campaign source, but no IP address, full referral URL, or account identity in audience records. Records are retained for up to 90 days. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal disables this measurement. Clearing browser storage resets the identifier. Counts can include undetected bots and repeat visitors using different browsers; they are estimates, not verified people. Audience reports are owner-only.
External platforms and shops.
X posts load only after you choose to load an embed. That connects your browser to X; X controls availability and its own data practices. Publisher, Instagram, ticket, and shop links open third-party services with their own terms and privacy policies.
We count raw outbound merchant-link requests, which can include repeat requests and bots. They do not establish purchases or commissions. Paid affiliate links, when approved and configured, are labeled. Checkout, delivery, returns, and support belong to the merchant.
Advertising and founder affiliation.
The Pacifica Hotels section is advertising. ClippersDome founder Matt Marquis is affiliated with Pacifica Hotels. Hotel links include referral tags and raw outbound click counts; those counts are not verified bookings, unique visitors, or earned commissions. Hotel stays do not include game tickets or transportation unless a merchant explicitly offers a package. Commercial placements are separate from basketball commentary.
Fan awards and statistics.
Statistical ClippersDome player picks are independent fan selections, with their calculation method published beside the cards. They are separate from fan votes and official NBA honors. Live statistics and automatic X popularity rankings appear only when their providers are connected.
ClippersDome is not affiliated with the LA Clippers, NBA, or Intuit Dome. Questions about a story or a community concern? Use the report control beside a comment or reach us at @ClippersDome.
